Henrik Larsson – “Kurt Karlsson”

Henrik Larsson started out in the entertainment industry as a child, landing one of the leading roles in a Swedish film directed by Lasse Hallström, “Alla Vi Barn I Bullerbyn”. Its success was followed by a sequel and series with the same principal cast, also directed by Hallström. His passion for film and love for writing have resulted in a number of feature screenplays, some which are in script development. Henrik’s debut novel, “Nefarious”, is being published for its international release. He continues to act, appearing opposite Gary Busey in the western, “Ghost Rock”, and most recently in “Hollywood Whores”.

Carla Tassara – “Sissy Braxton”

The daughter of Chilean-Uruguayan artists, Carla Tassara began her film career as a voice-over artist and quickly moved her way up to supporting and leading roles. Adam Schlachter was so impressed with her interpretation of a sensitive, nurturing prostitute in Nick Oceano’s “El Primo”, he ultimately cast her in four commercials he produced for T-Mobile and Current TV. To avoid typecasting, Carla does not play a prostitute in “Hollywood Whores”. She has been known, however, to morph into a teenager upon the sight of Curt Smith from “Tears For Fears”.

Anup Sugunan

Anup Sugunan – “Shakti Strong”

Anup Sugunan’s first project was landing a lead in, and subsequently producing, the independent film, “Trade Offs”. He worked as a special-ability extra on Peter Weir’s “Master And Commander: The Far Side Of The World”, and shot the related documentary, “Slaves And Ensigns: The Far Side Of The Border”. Anup co-wrote the feature, “It’s A Mismatch”, starred in the shorts, “27,000 Days”, winner of SXSW, and “The Trident”, starring David Carradine. He was the lead in the 9/11 film, “Necessary Illusions”, which won a Visionary Award and screened at the Turin Film Festival. He lives in Hollywood, city of dreams.

Talya Erdy

Talya Erdy – “Zoe Hart”

Talya Erdy fell in love with acting at an early age. It has been a tumultuous yet rewarding relationship that continues to grow and is beginning to flourish. Talya studied theater at Loyola Marymount University, and went on to study with Gregory Berger Sobeck at the Berg Studios as well as improvisation at the Second City Training Center . Talya recently completed filming “The Fallen Angel”, a film directed by Paco Arias, co-starring Billy Drago. She wishes to thank Adam Schlachter for the opportunity to be a part of “Hollywood Whores”, a film that she is very proud to be involved in.

Van Kassabian

Van Kassabian – “Miles Kaufman”

Van Kassabian received a B.A. in Telecommunications and Film from California State University, Los Angeles . His initial industry work came as a production intern at Lakeshore Entertainment and as a production assistant at Sally Field's production company, Fogwood Films. His directorial debut, titled "Head To Love", was screened at numerous international film festivals, including the Polish Horror Festival, where it was shown simultaneously at twenty-three cineplexes around the country, preceding the premiere midnight screening of “Saw VI”. "Hollywood Whores" is his sixth film as an editor, his forth film as a producer or co-producer, and his debut as an actor.

Yeniffer Behrens

Yeniffer Behrens – “Lucia Rivera”

Yeniffer Behrens has starred in numerous films, commercials, and television shows, including “C.S.I.”, “Nip/Tuck”, “Boston Legal”, “In Plain Sight”, and “ General Hospital ”. She worked alongside Will Smith and Rosario Dawson in Gabriele Muccino's “Seven Pounds”, and she was featured in Kenneth Castillo's “Drive-By Chronicles: Sidewayz” and “Confessions of a Gansgster”. For her True Form Films production banner, Yeniffer is producing a personal documentary that examines the millions of people that grow up bilingual in America, titled “Multicultural Harmony”. She is developing an HBO series about a young woman whose star continues to rise in the face of tragedy, “Meches Choices”.

Joey Medina

Joey Medina – “Robert Rivera”

Puerto Rican, born and raised in The Bronx, Joey Medina spent his youth perfecting the boxing skills that would earn him a world title shot. A police officer before becoming a comedian, Joey headlined every major club in America, toured Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, Egypt, and Israel, and performed for the U.S. Armed Forces. Alongside Paul Rodriguez, George Lopez, and Cheech Marin, he is one of “The Original Latin Kings Of Comedy”. Latin Style Magazine proclaims, "Joey is one of the few comedians that can bridge together urban with mainstream comedy to make his style a hit throughout the country."

Viviana Vigil

Viviana Vigil – “Roxanne Lopez”

Viviana Vigil made a name for herself on "LATV Live", a bilingual music show showcasing the Latin entertainment scene. She took the show to a national level and has since covered some of the hottest red carpets and movie junkets in Hollywood for various outlets, interviewing celebrities like Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Jessica Biel, Cate Blanchett, and Mel Gibson. Featured on A&E's "Biography" and Country Music Television's "Star Crossed", her recent projects include NBC’s “1st Look” and the Style Network’s “Open House”. Viviana worked as a children's social worker for Los Angeles County and continues to mentor foster youth today.

Michael Gavino – “Michael Angelo”

As a boy growing up in Maryland, Michael Gavino would walk through the neighboring woods, dreaming up all sorts of stories and imagining himself as one of the characters in these stories. Little did he know that his dreaming would lead to a lifetime of acting, writing, and producing. As an actor, Michael has been in numerous films, and as a writer and a producer, he has been involved in the award-winning films, “20 Spot” and “Reaping The Girl”. Michael is proud of all that he has accomplished and has a simple formula for success: “Creativity + Perseverance = Happiness”.

Christiana Leucas – “Shayla Kane”

Christiana Leucas studied Theater and Stage Arts since she was eight, in school or church, at the local youth center, and in high school and college. After an exciting cross-country trek, she settled in Los Angeles to realize her dream and passion for film. She studied with several coaches and has worked with actors Corin Nemec and David Faustino and directors Sam Kass and David Padrusch. She is slated to shoot two film projects in India, and is featured in several of photographer Ash Gupta’s art exhibitions for Studio 838 Media Group. “Hollywood Whores” is her second collaboration with Adam Schlachter.

Kumar Pallana

Kumar Pallana – “Magic Man”

Kumar Pallana is the former proprietor of the Cosmic Cup Coffee Shop, in Dallas, Texas, where feature film director Wes Anderson used to hang out, and he was subsequently cast in “Bottle Rocket”, “Rushmore”, “The Royal Tenenbaums”, and “The Darjeeling Limited”. Becoming a popular character actor by the age of eighty, Kumar is also a highly respected plate spinner and ring juggler, once having opened for Marlene Dietrich for her Las Vegas stage show in the 1940’s. He often co-stars with his son, Dipak Pallana, and worked with Steven Spielberg in the memorable role of “Gupta Rajan” in “The Terminal”.

Roopashree Jeevaji – “Simran Arya”

Born in Mandya, a small town in South India, and having spent most of her childhood in Mumbai, Roopashree Jeevaji has always been fascinated with life and stories that are extraordinary and inspiring. Mathrubhumi, the international newspaper, featured her in an article, "People Who Move Boundries", along with actors Archie Punjabi (“The Good Wife”) and Naveen Andrews (“Lost”). She studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute with a talent scholarship for four years and is taking Master Classes with Deborah Aquila (“The Time Traveller's Wife”, “The House Of Sand And Fog”, and “The illusionist”). Roopashree’s most recent film is titled ““NAIAM”.

G. Maximilian Zarou – “Marvin Stubbs”

G. Maximilian Zarou is an actor and comedian born and raised in Los Angeles . For real. He has appeared in several award-winning features that are very close to getting distribution. Any day now. You can catch his stand-up act most nights of the week at some of the more depressing open-mic nights around town. He has been studying improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre for three years and can be seen performing regularly with such teams as Spaceboat, Donut Video, and Guns Germs & Steel. Although he is bigger than you, you could still probably beat him up.

Leily Sanchez – “Julie Rodriguez”

Since the age of five, Leily Sanchez’s talented voice has taken her all over the Americas to sing duets with various well-known artists. After performing with Joyas De Cristo for four years, she sang with Jaci Velasquez in “A Christmas Special”, produced by Emilio Estefan. She has appeared on several television shows, such as Univision’s “Sabado Gigante”, and toured with the likes of Los Temerarios, Ana Barbara, Franco Devita, and Ricardo Montaner. Leily has acted in the films “Hilda”, “Daughters Of Clay”, “Closed Doors”, “Tyler”, and Adam Schlachter’s “My Backyard Was A Mountain”, which was shortlisted for the Academy Awards.

Adrian Moreira-Behrens

Adrian Moreira-Behrens – “Adrian Sebastian”

Adrian Moreira-Behrens, a trilingual prodigy, was born in Los Angeles, California, and is the son of actress-producer Yeniffer Behrens. When Adrian was three, he memorized an entire scene from the movie "Brother Bear", discovering that he had the acting bug. Just shy of his fourth birthday, he booked his first national commercial for "Quacker Oats" and his first movie with Douglas Spain, "North By El Norte". Some of his film and television credits include “Fallen Hero”, “Drive-By Chronicles: Sidewayz”, ABC's "Women's Murder Club", and NBC's "Journey Man". When not acting, Adrian ’s favorite hobbies include soccer, baseball, basketball, and video games.
